Dug a number of silver coins in the fields this year, but this was by far my best. 1820 bust dime, large "O" var. It's rather worn, but I'm curious whether I should get this professionally graded, or just put it in a coin sleeve or acrylic display container. I welcome your opinions.

G-VG Details.
I would just put it in an airtite or similar. Not worth spending the $ to TPG it.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the comments folks. Hey Coinfrog - Yeah, it was cleaned in the sense that I used a gentle flow of water to dab the mud off after it was unearthed. Nothing else. Otherwise you'd be viewing a pic of a dirt clod.

Sweet! I have yet to find anything metal detecting other than nails and old pull tabs.

That is odd finding those. Nice coins and you didn't have to spend much on them.
Rest in Peace
