1967 Jefferson Nickel - Is This Indirect Design Transfer (Pidt?)

Found this lovely Jeff in change when I went for lunch at Sonic yesterday. I immediately noticed that it had quite good luster for such an old coin, so I put it aside to look at. At first glance I thought it had clash but I think it's actually Progressive Indirect Design Transfer (PIDT) on review.

Very heavily worn dies with thick flowlines and grain, and the rims are quite noticeably higher than the fields.

Some areas of the design are quite sharp (the FS initials on the bust) and others are nearly gone (the center of Monticello.)

As this sort of thing is not my area of expertise I would appreciate some thoughts from those of you familiar with indirect design transfer as to if that is, in fact, what's going on with this nickel.

I took two sets of pictures -- the first with LED lighting, the second with ambient room lighting -- and a third set with the reverse rotated 180 degrees to show what looks like Jefferson's bust outline around Monticello!
