Does the security strip in a 20 dollar bill always go into the bill facing the same direction? I have one that's readable from one angle and two readable from another angle

The bills in my wallet are all the same. Looking at the portrait side and rotated 90 degrees clockwise, I see "USA TWENTY" right side up, then the same text upside down, then repeating. I would be worried if I saw the same thing with a bill rotated 90 degrees the other way.

This is described on the BEP site at https://www.uscurrency.gov/denominations/20. Click the "A" on the left side of the bill to read about the security thread: "Hold the note to light to see an embedded thread running vertically to the left of the portrait. The thread is imprinted with the text USA TWENTY and a small flag in an alternating pattern and is visible from both sides of the note. The thread glows green when illuminated by ultraviolet light."

I just examined 40 $20 notes and the security thread placement and orientation was identical in all of the examples.
