I think I see some doubling in the words In God We trust. And the gouge below liberty, did it happen during minting or after?

I don't see any doubling. The gouge might be a struck thru.

No doubling here either, the gouge to me looks like a damage, unless you are able to post a clear focused shot without glare, then it might tell a different story but for now it is a damage for me.

Doesn't the bottom line of the e look almost the same vs this variety
