But not the correct weight. All have a weight of 3 grams. I weighed all of them on 3 different scales including a Jewelers scale at the store. Can someone please explain.

Sorry, I'm not clear on what you're asking for. What do you mean when you say 8s are going on with them? These appear to be normal coins that have been well circulated. Were they exactly 3 grams? Like 3.00? Not approximately 3 grams, like even 3.1 or so?

Even if by some strange chance that they all do read 3.00g,
they are still within tolerance.
A copper cent can weigh anywhere between 2.99g and 3.23g
and still be within spec so there is nothing unusual
about the weight of your coins.
