2007 D Jefferson Dollar - What Sort Of Doubling Is This?

Here are a few more pics, which I hope may help make a better determination. If needed, I can try to get better pictures as well. These were quickies via a usb microscope. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/19/2019 5:32 pm Well I see nothing listed for this year/design/mint. But the only thing that comes to mind is that the die may have been polished a bit and the machine touched the deeper part of these devices and removed a bot of metal from that area. (removed metal on a die will leave an area raised) I see no evidence of hub doubling. No spread, nothing enlarged on the designs devices. Just a little field disturbance. But on these beings they are single squeezed die process dies, a doubled die would be more in the central areas of the die, and not on the outside devices of the die. http://www.varietyvista.com/15%20Go...20dollar.htm More in this area of the coin. I was wondering, can single squeeze dies still have hub doubling on the devices farther from the center? That is, should I really only bother looking for doubling more towards the center of the coin?
