I had always assumed that one was never minted. For some reason I started surfing the web and found it listed as a viable coin. Yet most places don't even mention it at all. Just skip from 55 to 57. Sick of getting conflicting information. Thought I'd post the question here and put it to rest.

If you look at the Japan mint site, they have a pdf listing their mintage figures. No 10 yen coins were struck in 1956.
