I Have a question I wanted to see what you guys think about this book? I have a chance to pick one up on a local coin shop for 139.00 and wanted to see if you guys think it's worth it?

at that price you'd better buy it, even if you don't like it you can sell it for $200 on ebay or Amazon.com

You can collect numismatic books as you can the coins - value depends largely on condition of course.

Is this a new book or a used one. Sometimes stores have used books with bent pages, torn pages, writting on pages. If yours is new, I wonder why that price. Of course it might be an over order and not moving so any price is worth nothing.
Then of course there is the matter of do you need one, want one, can use one, would use one? If it is just going to sit on a shelf, then that's a lot of money.
