I Have what appears to be one 2006 nicke with some severe issues with in the stampin does anyone know anythig about

to the CCF!

It looks like someone modified the coin after it left the mint. It's not an error coin, it's just damaged. It didn't look like this when it was struck.

I did overlays in Photoshop and I'm not 100% sure now. It's not a 2006, it's the 2005 Westward Journey/Western Waters design (I think.) I would be interested to know the weight as well.

Looks like it has been ground. Lack of rims indicates that.

4.73 does this mean my coin has been altered or machined seems to me if this was machined it would weigh much less for as much as is missing its almost a .5 and his eyes appear to be looking in a different direction or somethin

As I said in my post above. It's a 2005, not a 2006. That's why Jefferson looks different. Here's what the coin should look like. The fact that it's under weight means that it's probably been modified, so I'm back to thinking it's damaged.
