I have been collecting coins for the past 60 years and as I am living now in Myanmar my main interest is collecting coins from Myanmar and in particular coins minted during the Pyu period.

Trekmyanmar: to the CCF !

I have a friend, retired civil engineer, born in Myanmar, now lives in Hong Kong.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have three silver coins of the Pyu Kingdom city states of Burma:
1. Mon Kingdom of Hamsavati: obv. Sankh shell, rev. temple, 2 pellets below. (120 rattis in weight?)

2. Shrikshetra, Funan monarchy, obv.:- ornamental Funan symbol with dotted border, rev.:- temple with nine triangular dots within (Robinson & Shaw 3.1, Mitch. ACW 5238 - 5241 (M.2617-2620) (weight suggests 80 rattis)

3. Kindom of Beikthano: 3rd-5th Cent AD obv. sun, rev. temple. (80 rattis weight)

I know very little about them.
They all came from Noble Numismatics, professional coin dealers in Australia.
