The coin has a large die break, it extends from the edge into the crown. The break covers most of the coin. Does this make it scarce? Is this give it an added premium? On the obverse, it has what appears to be a center punch mark but I don't know if that is the reason for the break. On the obverse, center, you can see start of bulge from the punch mark. I could understand that the punch deformed it but why would it have broken the coin. I have laid it flat and it is not bent outward on obverse.
Interested to know any thoughts you might have

Looks like a cracked planchet error to me.

I agree with cracked planchet. A die break would only be on
one side and not extend through the planchet like you see
on the photo of the edge.
