Ummmm...kinda going out on a limb here but is this a picture pulled from Variety vista? Looks exactly like it... heres a link to the variety and pic:
http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...4DDDO003.htm If so, it is a Doubled Die, and I don't think it's a machine Doubled one. I could be wrong, but it seems like a Doubled die to me.

Well to me it looks like the doubling is located at the right ends of the 4 where notches can be seen (slants instead of straight edges) and the slant of the left part of the 4 seems to have doubling above it as well, but that could very well be Strike Doubling. I'm no expert but that's what I see.

When you asked for "opinions please" that implies it is YOUR coin you were asking about, and QuarterHoarder's eagle eye spotted it isn't your coin at all, your photo is just lifted from Variety Vista and someone else's hard work for the community.

@merclover u are correct I can see that it implies that. I guess I'm wrong for that, I'm not on here to show off my coins I'm on here for educational purposes a coin is a a coin I didn't know it's owner mattered that what be prejudice. A coin is A a coin. Aslo I take offense to you saying I just lifted someoelses hard work. Check my page I posted many images on this community which took much of my time I have images of the coin I have in question ill be happy to post for u to gander at.

We can clearly see that the photo you posted in this thread is NOT your coin. Variety Vista is the owner or has permission to use this photo. You *might* have one similar, but the coin in the photo is not YOUR coin. Dr.James Wiles is the copyright holder of The Variety Vista website. Violating copyright (stealing internet photographs) is a crime.

Unfortunately your coin looks to be a regular coin worth face value. Keep looking though, and you'll find something eventually.

There an be Machine Doubling on a doubled die. Note on the '4' you can see on the SW corner the hub doubling and what looks like Machine Doubling at the top of the '4'. Note the notch on the SE corner of the '4'. So it can be both.
