What your saying is impossible to happen. If it was misspelled,
it would have to be on the die then every coin struck would be the
same as the letters are permanently engraved in the die and can't
change during the striking of the coins.

I was referring to a light strike on V that makes it look like a W. I'm new at this so I may be 'reaching' and hoping it was an error. Thank you. I'll keep searching!

Im from Virginia. That's how I spell it. I think what you see is post mint damage. Or West Virginia
