A few years back, the RCM offered a really nice storage box to its Master's Club members. It's virtually the same as the box they currently sell online but it has the MC logo instead of the regular RCM logo. I believe these boxes were only issued for one year, or possibly 2. I was wondering if by chance, the RCM has produced more of these boxes with the MC logo since then. Has anyone received one in the last couple years? Are these boxes hard to come by? Is there a market for them? How much should be expected to pay for one? Any input would be appreciated.

The one I was referring to is RCM item number 145978. I believe the one on the website for $115 is item number 145979. The only difference is the logo on the top of the box.

Thanks Silverwolf, I can now check off the "learning something new today" box. I couldn't find it looking through the same place the regular logo box was listed. I assume you searched by item number? I had no idea these were for sale at any point. I assume only MC members could purchase these? Interesting that they are the same price as the current regular logo box. I would have thought the valued MC membership would include some discount of some sort. I'm curious to know how many were sold/given away. I doubt there's any way to determine that though. At least not with the resources I have. They are listed as sold out, so I wonder how long ago that happened. They are very nice boxes, but the MC logo version having been for sale sort of takes from the appeal of scarcity. I was under the impression only a MC members from a particular year received them. Thanks for the link.

@Redzapsid: I received the MC case back in October of 2017 - I received it without charge.
In 2018, I received one of the non-MC cases, also for free.

I was given one at the Mint in Winnipeg in 2018. Very nicely crafted.. Picked up a second new one on Kijiji for $80.. They are a nice manageable box to hold a small collection, or a few key coins that you refer to often.

i received the MC case about 5 years ago, for no charge, then the following year they had a promotion where, if you spent I believe around 350$ in one transaction you got a free regular case. I am not sure when the MC cases went into the store, but they were probably selling off the extra ones they had on hand.

If anyone has an idea or actual number of MC boxes that were made, please share.
