Hey guys, I'm new to this site and I've been on and off collecting for most of my life. Recently I've been into it again (last year) and received my grandfather's old silver coins. He's the reason for me being in the hobby in the first place and I appreciate it so much more as an adult!

Anyway I'm new to errors and looking for them but I do believe I've found a 63 Franklin no mint mark double die obverse. I don't know how rare it is. I have no doubling on the E Plubrus Unum but it is on most of the other letters, bell, eagle's wingtip on the rest of the reverse. Any bit of input would be appreciated!

This is actually a kind of doubling known as Machine Doubling. Not a doubled die unfortunately. Keep searching, though. Takes some practice to reliably discern the difference.

Classic Machine Doubling. Note all affected areas are reduced in size. Nothing is showing hub doubling. If it were hub doubled it would be enlarged like this:

On Machine Doubling it affects the outside parts of the devices. On a doubled die, you can see the spread where the hub process doubled the devices on the die. note the line in the centers of the devices? That is the spread. Also note EPU.
