You will need to post much better pictures, cropped so that we can just see the coin.

From what little I can tell this isn't ancient or medieval.

I'm going to guess it's a civil war token, but it's just a shot in the dark because I can't see what the devices at all

@gl, first welcome to CCF. Second, while I agree wholeheartedly that better pics would help, when I crop, enlarge, rotate, and enhance your current pics, I see enough detail to say that this copper-colored piece appears to be modeled off of a 7th-8th Century Byzantine gold solidus, such as the one in this numista link:
