Pulled this guy out of a wheat bag tonight. Paid .03¢ for this one. Not too many finds in this bag so far. A few older dates and a mediocre lamination but nothing great compared to this one. I can't help but think how nice this doubled die would have been if the first hubbing was strong. The spread itself would have been very nice. I also apologize for how close the images are. I underestimated the size of the pictures. Anyways, thanks for taking a look! All grading opinions are welcome -CH27 Edit: added the doubled die listing: http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20...1PDDO005.htm Collector of U.S. Coins, Varieties, and Colonial Coinage

Wow!
Great find!
I'm absolutely terrible with grading and haven't really tried to say my opinions when it comes to it but...
Maybe XF-40?
Or maybe VF-30
Not for sure

Congrats on the find. That is a really nice class 4 and I agree it is in the VF catregory.

Excellent score CoinHunter27.
Thanks for posting the large pictures for us blind folks.
Also, new at figuring out the grade and am thinking VF at best?

Thanks CTT. The 1941 doubled dies seem to be pretty elusive. I've been through hundreds if not thousands of '41s and this is the only doubled die I've found. I'm happy this one fell into my hands.

@CH27 I have an extra of the 1941 FS-102, if you PM me we should be able to work something out.

CH, Very nice DDO. Good strong example which shows well. But there are 27 listed DDO's on VV alone, so hard not to find one once in a while. Yeah, it's an eyelid or one of those funky broken T over T kind of deals, but lots to find on 1941 (as well as 7 DDRs).

Thanks TB and what you say is true. I guess my eyes are peeled for the bigger stuff, like FS-101, 102, and 103. I find that if I fill up my binders with the smaller Stuff I end up needing a lot more space . I'll have to start taking a closer look at the '40s Lincolns for some of those doubled dies you mentioned though. Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving! -CH27
