I recently inherited my father-in-law's coin collection and was looking through some BU/AU coins and found these. It's been a LONG time since I've looked through coins, but these sure as heck look like split serifs. I can't find a matching class on variety vista though. Thoughts? Just a late stage die where only split shows?

Two different coins.
