Let me know what you guys think of the grade. The scanner pics won't give you an accurate show of the coin but its what I'm working with.

After further review, and looking at better resolution pics on my computer instead of my phone, I find the scratch on the side of the Buffalo to be very distracting. That scratch may even render the coin a "Details" grade!

My new grade is "XF Details - Scratched". What a shame! Almost looks like a staple scratch.

Lcs. Hard to find these in good condition raw. Wasn't cheap but it's a great addition. I always tell myself if it brings a large profit I'd consider selling it. I never do. Coin collectors curse, pry just get a bigger safe ha

And not to question your judgement westernsky because I see the scratch as well, what to you other folks think? Will it get a details grade?

nice coin scratched or not.
Whats on the front, it looks a little off but I cant tell if its the pic or the coin. XF seems fair, either lower without details or higher with, I'm not good enough at grading to say.

Agreed. I sent it off to PCGS. Hopefully it'll come back a straight grade, but I have to admit I'm not very confident it will with the scratch

It may come back with a straight XF40 grade because of the variety.

When grading buffalo's, I always look at the tail to see if it's split - and yours is!
Lucky you with the grade - definitely a keeper - bravo
Rest in Peace
