Your link went to bridge.sfo1.admarketplace.net and googleadservices, both of which I have blocked, on the way to
Amazon.
I evaluated one of these 21MP cameras a while back, and was not able to get full resolution from it. I had tested a 16MP model even earlier and it was able to capture full resolution only when unplugged from USB, and saving the image to the TF card. With USB plugged in the resolution was limited to 1920x1080. The image quality of the 21MP was much worse than from the older 16MP. I think it was probably upconverting from a much lower resolution. That said, there are many "21MP" cameras out there, and some may have full resolution when writing to the TF card. It's a bit of a gamble, but you could always buy it and send back if it doesn't give full resolution.
I see that one of the "21MP" links on
Amazon gives specs for video resolution of 4320*3240 for TF card, which is only 14MP. They likely upconvert to 21MP, if they give 21MP at all. Perhaps they are just expecting the end user to upconvert it!
One listing claims a "21 megapixel Panasonic CMOS sensor 1/2.33 inch" with "5200*3900" resolution, which is 20.3MP. That's at least getting close to their claims, and perhaps it has good image quality. May be worth a shot. Personally I was annoyed with the workflow not having USB control, and having to do framing and focusing on HDMI, and then moving the card back and forth between the camera and computer, but many folks do this on regular basis. I guess you can get used to it.
Note that even on this model with best hope of giving good resolution, the last note is:
"this camera is mainly a hdmi camera, if you need higher resolution via USB pls choose professional USB camera or contact us "
So even the mfr has reservations about the functionality of their camera.
JW has shown that a few cameras are now capable of transferring full resolution over USB3. The
