Sap Moderator Australia 16809 Posts	Posted 10/02/2008 03:04 am As I said in the other thread, the one with "P.E." on both sides will be difficult to identify, especially if the context has been lost; "P.E." could stand for almost anything. If possible, ask the person you obtained the token from if they know anything about where it came from; that might help narrow down the search. The second one I suspect is British, on the assumption that "TOKEN VALUE 5 NP" is the denomination, and "5 NP" is short for "5 new pence". But since the token itself gives no further information about it's origins, that's the best I can do with it. It might be a generic "stock token", made by a manufacturer of tokens and/or vending machines for sale to customers that can't afford to make their own specially-designed tokens. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff

I removed these from the other thread because they were different from the other currency. I appreciate all your help in the identity of all those coins as well. The coins were obtained from a guy who buys bundersbank (sp?) coin bags from Germany and breaks them up into 1 lb. lots so it is doubtful he would be of much help. You put this token into the machine to get clean undershorts. 5np is certainly 5 new pence, you have those tokens also with 1/, which mean 1 shilling. Date 1966-1971. Report this Post to the Staff
