Does anyone know of a book or online site that has compiled a database tracking the history of coin values. Let's say I'm searching for the value of a 1857 EF-40 Half Cent in 1970. Anyone know where I could find this information. I have searched greysheets previous publications and https://www.us-coin-values-advisor.com/. I have found some of the information I'm in search of, but no really complete database.

The reference you listed is the only thing I've seen with historical pricing. Unfortunately it doesn't have much of the early stuff.

I would think Whitmans would have published a book of this nature by now. Thanks for your response. I'll continue to dig through old Red Books and Greysheet publications.

It is fun to go back through my older editions and look at the prices.
