i Say FAKE.. the top of the 5 goes up, it should be straight across. The missing stem to leaf l-1. The holes in the 8 are too round, should be more oval. There is my thoughts.

The T in victoria has the bottom looking correct. Not sure of other markers. Looks like a blunt 5?

100% guaranteed fake.
Lots of features look correct, that's how they fool you.
The broken stem is found all genuine 1875s.
The 8 is not unexpected.

The 5 is the wrong font, not like either of the known fives.
Here are two of the markers found on all known Chinese made Victoria 25cent fakes
