I have nickel that definitely has Die Deterioration but also has many serifs that are more visible with a loop than with pictures from the microscope. Is it possible to have both?

Yes it is possible to have both.
On your coin I can see extreme Die Deterioration but I can't see
any doubling. Can you point out what letters you think are doubled?

Sorry but that's not a doubled die.
