I am very curious about this coin. I know in most cases environmental damage would have caused this, but I wanted to ask the experts on this forum about their opinion. I don't think it was buried, it seems way to clean for that. There also appears to be an interesting patina and some leftovers of the silvery clad layer on the reverse. If anyone can give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Looks like environmental damage to me. Colors aren't correct. If you you had one it would be completely copper colored, with no splotches (with the exception of a partial missing clad layer).
