I just got these coins and not sure about the holders they are in.

Well I'd be concerned about PVC so personally, I'd break these out and put them into 2x2s I think.

They look sufficient to me as to serving it's purpose but like spence says we'd be concerned about PVC . They look old like before they made PVC free holders .

If the plastic is thick, clear and flexible, there is a 99% chance it is PVC.

Get them out.

If they are mounted nicely in cardboard, I would take the whole card out, put it in a Ziplok bag (or a large non-pVC page with a single pouch which would look much nicer), and keep the original plastic envelope in another Ziplok in case you want to re-sell later in the "original package."

The plastic around the Colombia sets already looks kind of goopy, and it looks like you'll just need to cut 'em out of those compartments.

And ... Caldor? I never knew they sold coins!

I would like to put them in something other then 2x2s any advise? Something like an album that I can keep them in a group. on each page.
I have no Ideas. But I do have the acetone ready to go. as soon as I decide what to do

I'm surprised there's no noticeable toning going on from the cardboard. Dulling, yes. Remove them, soak in acetone and use 2x2's or Air-Tites. Soak and air dry- do not rub.
