I believe this is an error I found one on 1983 but bigger as reference.

So far it looks like a die chip. If it extended above the rim, I would like a minor Cud. But the rim appears to normal so far.

I would call that a small Cud. The edge of the die field has chipped off, but the chip does not extend down far enough to the reached the "shelf" that runs around the circumference of the die and which creates the top surface of the rim. But since it does involve the edge of the die I would consider it to be a Cud.
