Probably not a surprise to others, but it was a cool moment for me today. I was going through all the Indian Head penny's and realized that the 1862, and 1863 were a gram heavier than the others.

Just 1 gram? Should be almost 1.5 grams The bronze versions, 95%copper 5% tin and zinc (1864 and later) were 3.11 grams. The coppernickel version, 88% copper 12% nickel (1859 - 1864) were 4.66 grams.
