panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18654 Posts	Posted 12/08/2019 09:38 am I found this great video by Bill Ecberg from Heritage that discusses how to collect a type set of Half Cents. its extremely interesting and has history of the development of the Half Cents, how hubs and dies were used, the different hubs and dies from 1793 through 1857 and what it takes to collect a type set of these unique coins. kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 12/08/2019 5:37 pm I just watched the video because I'm a type set collector. My type set is based on the NGC Registry Type Set - 1793-1964. Turns out I have four of the half set types mentioned in the video and four is all that NGC included. 1793 - F-12 1795 - Lettered Edge with Pole - XF-40 1806 - AU-58 BN 1834 - AU 58 I'll have to consider whether I'll include the missing four.
