Hello. Can you please take a look at this quarter for me? I'm not sure if it was damaged during the mint or after. The front of the coin is quite shiny with little wear. I actually think it's a cool looking coin. I appreciate your input.

Someone beat them, before you got to them. Just spenders. It is the great looking coins that have more value, then the worse looking ones that are damaged.

Thanks for all the input. This new hobby of mine is tougher than I thought!

From what I understand, 'ugly' damaged coins may have value? I have a jar full of ugly, unusual looking coins I've saved over the years - some look like they've been down the garbage disposal. I had no idea they could possibly be valuable.

Any tips on what to look for in ugly coins? And can I post more than coin per topic?
