It looks like the coin is damaged. It didn't look like this when it was struck. It's PSD. If the coin is clad, it's worth only a dime at most. If it happened to be 90% Silver (a Roosevelt dime prior to 1965) it would be worth the melt value for silver, which can change from day to day.
