1994-P Kennedy Half Dollar - Die Clash And Off Center Strike?

chrisof4 Valued Member United States 274 Posts	Posted 12/12/2019 9:59 pm I found this one while CRH. It looks like a die clash to me. I think I can see the shield from the reverse and some of the rays on Kennedy's ear/jawline/cheek. The full picture of the obverse and reverse shows this may have been struck a little off center? I am not sure what to call this, but there is a definite ridge visible at the bottom of the coin. Please let me know your thoughts. Report this Post to the Staff

Based on the overlay Coop provided and the ones at maddieclashes the shield is not part of the clash. It looks like just rays. I think I can see the curve of the banner in the lower set of rays.
