Although we've seen occasional damage to this blue strip, this is the first one I've seen that's missing the interwoven lower section. I'm not sure if it's desirable or not. Unfortunately, the note also has a rip in the lower margin going into the design. Report this Post to the Staff

Possible someone took a marker to color it in, but doesn't really look like that. If it is in fact an error or variety it probably isn't dramatic enough to get much of a premium.
