Is-This-A-Chinese-Coin?-Id:-Silver-Pendant-Bead

Hi, I recently inherited a coin collection from all over the world, including lots of gems from Indonesia occupation money, and VOC 1700's coins, but there is one "coin" we can't work out. Attached is some photos of what we cannot figure out. We think the markings are Chinese, and think it is an old form of trade / coin. It is made of silver. Perhaps it's not a coin at all? Can anyone help me please? Cheers !

That looks like two copies of the same picture.

It looks roughly spherical with the top and bottom somewhat pointed. Is that correct?

The shape doesn't suggest a coin. There's the Thai bullet money, but those had a simpler design.

The design doesn't remind me of any Chinese coin legends.

If the other side is relatively plain with a bump in the center, it's probably an ornate button.
