Note that there are some stylistic differences between these two, and even allowing for wear, each is a bit on the light side, so I'm not thinking that either is regal. The one on the left measures 27.5 mm in diameter and weighs 7.86 grams, while the other to the right is 28 mm but comes in at only 7.24 grams (in this subforum, I suppose I ought to be spelling that "grammes").

Yes, definitely Non-Regal at those weights. It is actually very difficult to find a Regal 1775 - I read somewhere that by 1799, when the new Halfpenny came out, up to 90% of the copper coins in circulation were contemporary counterfeits.

Here is a 1774 Non Regal I picked up the other day. Looks to be very similar design and may be from the same counterfeiting operation. This one weighs 8.34g. (In the UK both gram and gramme are acceptable but I think American culture and Texting is making the former more normal now. I dodge the question by using "g".)
