This is another bronze coin I've been having trouble identifying. It is Constans. The obverse legend reads FLIVL CONSTANS NOBC, and the reverse legend reads GLORIA EXERCITVS, with two soldiers holding spears and shields with two standards between them. The coin is 17mm in diameter.

The mint mark is unclear, but appears to read SM (something) B. I've tried searching for SMTB, SMKB, SMHB, SMNB etc to no avail. None of the coins listed in Wildwinds seems to match the obverse, reverse and mint mark.

Can anyone help? Thank you.
Jim

RIC VII Cyzicus 89 would appear to be a match.

Thank you Maridvnvm.

The on-line Wildwinds page I'm on seems to jump from Cyzicus RIC 87 s, to RIC 114 s. RIC 87 s does seem to be a close match, but the last letter sure does look like B on the coin. A web search for Constans RIC VII 89 takes me to Constans Antioch RIC VII 89, but there are too many characters on that coin. I can't find RIC VII Cyzicus 89 anywhere. What site did you find it on?

Thanks, Jim
