What Happened To These 2 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC 'S?

bmanofnbc Pillar of the Community United States 1424 Posts	Posted 10/05/2008 9:24 pm I found these 2 LMC's in rolls this week. The one on the left looks like a counter-stamp but of what? The one on the right appears tp be post-mint damage but I wanted another opinion before I spend it. Here is a picture of reverse....before you guys ask for it Report this Post to the Staff

The reverse looks resolved in some kind of a liquid. I got the same result once when I threw a LMC in 100% lemon juice. the 1979 looks over stamped. Report this Post to the Staff
