What's up with the edge and rim on the Obverse of this 2005S 5C PCGS PR69DCAM Western Waters Jefferson?

Hi,

I suspect nothing. It looks like an issue involving the plastic case.

If it were the coin, there is no way PCGS would give it an MS-69 grade.

I think that would dissapear if the coin were not in the holder.

I was also beginning to wonder how in the world could PCGS grade the coin a PR69DCam with a damaged edge/rim?


Good to know its the holder, if I see any other of my slabbed coins that look like this.
