Another would like opinion on—trying to determine weather to get slabbed or not on these coins—i figure if higher grade may be worth slabbing—thank you

I I understand your logic, this is a coin which value escalates steeply as it goes from EF to the AU and MS grades.

I agree with @coinfrog that your coin would not grade at these levels. so the investment in grading is questionable.

It is still worth a bit. This was the only year this denomination was struck. While not the best grade, definitely worth some reasonable premium.

Yes the mintage is 16,300,000 but the price these are going for way exceed the melt value—my other foreign coins of high mintage goes above melt value but not much, even into the 1800's

Slightly better examples, ungraded have sold at auction recently for about $400 plus fees.

In my opinion, if you spend money to have these coins graded, you will have lost a good chunk of your premium over bullion.

They appear to be highly collectible because of the odd denomination, and single year of issue. So you do not need to get them graded. If you only paid bullion value or a small premium, you did well!
