Can anyone tell me about INS graded coins. From my own research appears to be company started around time of ANACS in 70s and started by some guys from ANACS. How good are these grades? Do issue coins find their way in these holders? Are these worth extra for such a vintage holder? Any input would be great. Thank you in advance.

I vaguely remember this grading company. Best I can remember their grading was "ok" but that was 35 years ago and things change as things change.

I doubt if any collector or coin dealer today would buy it as a 64. As far is the slab being a collectible? Short answer is yes it is.

Your best bet is to see if the coin might crossover into a PCGS or NGC slab at the same grade as what is on it now.

Pics too small for me to evaluate.

Here are some bigger photos. I am trying to do as much research as possible. I see where these holders are rare. Though these coins were graded in 1980s under different grading standards. Some end up lower in grade others have cross graded higher. Your thoughts on this one?

1). Do you own it?

2). If so, send it in for grading.

3). Can't really tell too much from the pics but it looks nice.
