murty, I'm not a 100% sure, but that lines up as clash mark from Lady Libertys hair between the last tiara ray and hair bun. Don't know much about these mush monsters.

Yes, that is an area known for clash marks and that looks like one. Look between the Eagle's beak and right shoulder , another area known for clash marks, usually as a spike coming out of the shoulder. As for attribution, it would take more pics of the coin- including full obverse and reverse. These clashes are not uncommon so the rest of the coin will need to be seen- even then these can be tricky little mush monsters !
