I am not the best with less severe double dies so...was just curious what this could be. Doubling on the 7 and the 2 of the 1972. If other die markers are needed, let me know.

Looks like MD to me also.Full coin photos are best,with close ups where needed. John1

Yes I have looked through them, and I see, thank you. Not used to this type of MD, as MD usually looks like a ghosting effect for me, but this case there is certainly more "thick" doubling happening, or solid doubling in a sense.

Don't be too quick to toss this one back..Take a closer look at that cent...DDs can also have MD happening on them, IMO inside the loop of the 9 is looking good for a possible DD

What should I do then Greasy Fingers? I don't believe I have enough experience to identify a DD, should I take pictures of die markers or?

Add pix of liberty and IGWT and I have a labeled dixie cup that I toss ones in that I need to check into further

Well we have a bit of an issue...while I was traveling from Missouri to Florida yesterday...I LOST THE COIN!
