I am not the best with less severe double dies so...was just curious what this could be.

Doubling on the 7 and the 2 of the 1972. If other die markers are needed, let me know.

Have you looked through any of the attribution sites for a known variety?
coppercoins.com http://coppercoins.com/diesearch.php
VarietyVista http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20...O%201972.htm

DoubledDies http://doubleddie.com/384301.html

These are only three sites to start your search.

Looks like MD to me though.

Yes I have looked through them, and I see, thank you. Not used to this type of MD, as MD usually looks like a ghosting effect for me, but this case there is certainly more "thick" doubling happening, or solid doubling in a sense.

Thank you

Don't be too quick to toss this one back..Take a closer look at that cent...DDs can also have MD happening on them, IMO inside the loop of the 9 is looking good for a possible DD

What should I do then Greasy Fingers? I don't believe I have enough experience to identify a DD, should I take pictures of die markers or?
