I know you guys are probably weary of this thread, but just for giggles I am attaching a couple of photos from my desk.
My photography needs a lot of work . . . a lot.
In jacking the lights around and messing with around with f-stops and shutter speeds I have what I believe to be a fair representation of what the piece actually looks like in hand.
But I have lost detail.
I can't seem to get both.
But you all have seen the originals, those will show the details.
Still, the luster is hard to capture.

The reverse though, I feel I did manage to capture better the nature of the toning. The blue was nearly missing from the originals. I caught a little of it.
Again, it is going to stay in this holder and off to CAC.
And hold my breath.
