LDS was never a positive thing for me . Not a fan of that dark maroon color ,add a few hits here and there and I come up with VF-30 .

I don't believe the color is right, particularly since most of the other coins in the OP's batch look the same. In any event, a details coin because of the obverse corrosion spot.

Typical mushy 1924-D strike, with worn dies. Adjusting for strike weakness, I think you are at VF-25 here. Decent coin for the date.
