By me there is occationally a large intercontinental coin show at a place called the Rosemont Convention Center. I've gone there a few times just to look. I've always noted that there are absolutely no USA coins there and when I asked I was told they are not allowed. While walking around I've always noted that the vast majority of coins from all over the world seldom have some old dead guy on them. Some do naturally but most appear to have had a real artist design them. Many of the coins there if blown up larger could probably be used as a painting for a wall. Sure wouldn't do that with our modern coins. Imagine a large painting of the Jefferson nickel on your wall.
Around me that Mexican coin would be much more understood than the US coins. I have many neighbors that can only speak Spanish. With over 5 Spanish TV stations, numersous Spanish Radio stations we should all be getting used to the Peso.
