1983 D LMC With Plating Issues

I found this 1983 D LMC that has a weight of 2.55 grams that looks like most of the copper plating is missing off of the obverse and reverse but is present on the edge. It does have spots on both the obverse and reverse where one can see the copper plating, could use some help with this one, any information would be appreciated and thank you in advance
