hello I have one 1891 Indian Head cent weighs 2.93g it is not plated and it is magnetic.

Without pictures, only speculation is possible. Likely it was plated with nickel.

That would be impossible to be struct on a steel planchet .Steel Cents was only used in 1943 when they were plated with Zinc .
