Has anyone ever encountered something that looks like this? Could this just be a dramatic interior die break? Two very raised areas that are very similar to one another. No correlating damage on obverse. Any thoughts?

@jc84, first welcome to CCF. Second, when we see clad coins with one or more bumps like this, we attribute that to excessive heat, such as from a propane torch (not a mint error).
