So I open the safe at work, and I have $5000 in brand spanking new 1$ bills looking me in the face. I said wow those are crisp. I called my wife and got permission and bought a strap. They are 2006 from Dallas 2 different serial sequences were in it:
K80348501 B through K80348542 B
K80348593 B through K80348600 B

If I wanted to save these for about 50 years, how would you store them?

Go back to the safe and flip through each of the straps. Go slow enough to read all of the numbers. If you see any with a star behind it, stop and slip it out. After going through all 5000, then buy all of the star notes and it will be well worth your time. It's like roll searching ...lol.
