Any input? Cheek bone looks like he was knocked out. Cud in between T and Y on Liberty and behind shoulder. Edited by Asg313 01/03/2020 01:02 am

The cheek is just circulation damage, and the pic is too blurry to see what's between T and Y.

Cheek looks like PMD and not a Cud. Cuds always include the rim. John1

John - But how could PMD cause the metal on his cheek to bulge. It's not an indent/divot. It's raised outward pretty significantly. Any thoughts on how PMD would cause that? And, I know it's probably not "rare" or worth most of everyone's time posting on this thread. But I'm curious if anyone else has seen a similar Cud on the same coin/year/mint.

I feel comfortable saying its just Damage not a error and the condition of the coin, It's a spender.

The cheek bone appears to come out like that because it's was a very strong strike and the area around it has been worn down and taken some good hits.
